By installing one of our SEDBUK A-Rated combi boilers or system boilers then you could see savings of £235* per year on your fuel bill.
Your new SEDBUK A-Rated combi boiler installation or system boiler installation should include new heating controls to maximise the savings you can make on your fuel bills.
You may have heard the term "Heating Controls" before, but may have wondered just what exactly they include.
Heating controls include:
These heating controls work synergistically to allow you to control the correct temperature for your property, and thus reducing your heating bills.
Thermostatic Radiator Valves or TRVs allow you to accurately regulate the temperature in each room. Upstairs rooms and bedrooms benefit for example from any heat generated downstairs, and as you don't spend huge amounts of "awake time" in those rooms they have a reduced heating requirement - TRVs allow you to regulate the temperature in these rooms, and are easily adjustable should to wish to further increase or decrease the room temperature.
We always recommend the replacement of old, inefficient heating controls on any new install, and we have been recommending this even before it was included as part of the Domestic Heating Compliance Guide. It is the synergistic nature of the controls, TRVs and the replacement of the boiler which works to save you money on your fuel bill.
